The wildlife recorded in the area includes hares, small bamboo rats, tree squirrels, chipmunks, mongooses, junglefowl, coucals, green pigeons, magpies, red-whiskered bulbuls, amphibians, reptiles, and freshwater fish. Although most visitors come mainly for the waterfall and forest atmosphere, the presence of this wildlife shows that the area still supports a living ecological system connected to the stream and surrounding woodland.

The final stretch is unpaved dirt road, but in normal weather conditions it remains reachable by private car.
