Tham Sao Hin Phaya Naga Reservoir in Mae Sai, Chiang Rai, is a remarkable destination that combines natural tranquility with adventurous exploration. The highlight of the area is the three-level cave system known as Tham Sao Hin Phaya Naga. The third level is the most challenging, involving steep climbs and deep drops, suitable only for experienced explorers.

 

Nearby, Tham Pla (Fish Cave) offers a different experience, where visitors can observe various freshwater fish species in clear cave water, along with monkeys living in the surrounding area.

 

Getting There is best by private car from Chiang Rai to Mae Sai, then continuing to Pong Ngam. Mountain roads require careful driving, and proper equipment is recommended for cave exploration.
