Wat Chang Kheng is located at No. 124, Ban Chang Koeng, Chiang Mai - Lamphun Road, Moo 4, Tambon Saraphi, Amphoe Saraphi, Changwat Chiang Mai.
 
This temple is under the Maha Nikaya. The entire area of the temple is 2 rai, 2 ngan, 53 square wa. Wat Chang Kheng was built in 1757. It was officially appointed to be Buddhist sanctuary under the King's grant in 1907.
 
The temple comprises a vihara in Lanna style with traditional painting, an ubosot with old Buddha statue. At present, Phra Maha Mongkol Maha Panyo is an abbot.
