Songkhla Aquarium Located at Plai Laem Son On, Bo Yang Subdistrict, Mueang District, established by Songkhla Municipality for youth and the general public to study and learn about biology and behavior of aquatic animals as well as the conservation of marine natural resources and the environment. as well as being a place for recreation of the people See the majesty of over 200 kilograms of sea cichlids, the largest and most in Thailand, leopard sharks and beautiful coral reef fish groups.

 

Inside the aquarium exhibits and various exhibitions, consisting of fish tunnels, ecosystems, mountains, streams, freshwater animals, mangrove forests, beaches and saltwater creatures, the Gulf of Thailand, the use of marine resources, an exhibition ground, there are also seminar rooms, restaurants and shops souvenir.

 

Open for viewing every Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Saturday - Sunday and public holidays from 08:30 AM - 8:00 PM. Admission is 100 baht for adults, 50 baht for children (children not taller than 80 cm. Free) Adults aged 70 years and over, monks and people with disabilities enter for free, foreigners 200 baht.

 

By car, from Hat Yai District to Songkhla Aquarium, about 26 kilometers, you can travel on 2 routes: the old line (Kanchanawanich Road), the new line, Lopburi Ramet Road.
