Tham Yai Pha Tang It is a cave on a low mountain at Mu 6, Ban Pha Tang, Pong District, Phayao Province. Inside the cave there is a Buddha image built by Thai soldiers that was built when it was used as a base to fight communism. There are also beautiful stalactites and stalagmites inside the cave. And is the habitat of many bats. Villagers tend to collect bat excrement to sell. And is also another popular tourist attraction of Phayao.
