Getting There Traveling to Pran Buri Dam is convenient by private car. From Pran Buri town, take Highway No. 4 heading toward Sam Roi Yot for about 1.5 kilometers. You will find a junction on the right with a sign indicating the Pran Buri Dam Project. Turn onto that road and continue for about 16 kilometers. Along the way you will pass the Pran Buri Irrigation School on the left side. Continue straight for another 1.5 kilometers and you will reach the dam crest area.

 

For travelers using public transportation, you can take a bus running between Hua Hin and Pran Buri and get off at Pran Buri town. From there, you can hire a local songthaew (shared taxi truck) from the Pran Buri intersection to reach the dam. The approximate rental cost is around 300 baht. However, traveling by private car is generally the most convenient option because the dam is located quite far from the main town.

 

With its vast reservoir surrounded by mountains, a long scenic dam crest suitable for driving, and a peaceful natural environment, Pran Buri Dam has become another attractive destination in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province.
