Sirindhorn Agricultural Development Center under the Chaipattana Foundation in Phichit Province serves as a learning hub for sustainable agriculture, developed to address recurring flood problems in the area. The center applies the philosophy of Sufficiency Economy as a guideline for land utilization and agricultural practices. This initiative reflects the vision of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, who has always emphasized the importance of self-reliance and sustainable development for farmers and local communities. On July 19, 2007, Her Royal Highness personally visited the site to observe the progress and officially inaugurated the center, marking a significant milestone that highlighted her dedication and concern for the well-being of farmers in flood-prone areas.

The Sirindhorn Agricultural Development Center demonstrates effective land management in lowland areas by promoting integrated farming systems that can adapt to flooding. Examples include cultivating crops on higher ground, livestock raising, and utilizing waterlogged areas for fisheries. The center also develops appropriate water management systems to ensure continuous farming throughout the year. Beyond serving as an agricultural site, the center acts as a knowledge-sharing hub, offering training and practical learning on land utilization, natural resource conservation, and resilience to environmental challenges posed by seasonal floods.

Traveling to the Sirindhorn Agricultural Development Center from Phichit City is convenient. Begin by heading northwest on Route 111, then turn left to continue along the same road for about 1.4 kilometers. After that, turn left onto Route 113, make a slight left to remain on the road, and proceed towards Route 1118. Continue driving, make a slight left to stay on Route 1118, then turn right and take the third exit on the left, followed by the first exit on the right. This leads to Noen Makok Subdistrict, Bang Mun Nak District, Phichit Province, where the center is located. The route is accessible for both tourists and those interested in agricultural learning.

The establishment of the Sirindhorn Agricultural Development Center not only addresses the agricultural challenges caused by floods but also stands as a model for sustainable farming that maximizes resource utilization while embracing the principles of sufficiency. Farmers and visitors can learn practical methods such as crop planning, adapting to natural conditions, and generating alternative income during non-cultivation periods. Ultimately, the center functions as a living classroom, experimental ground, and knowledge-sharing platform, embodying the benevolence and foresight of Her Royal Highness in supporting farmers and improving community livelihoods.
