Wat Mae Lop Pa Phlu, Ban Hong, Lamphun. Wat Mae Lop, under the Sangha of the Mahanikaya sect, is located on a plot of land measuring 13 rai, 2 ngan, and 65 square wah.
The temple’s boundaries are as follows: to the north, approximately 4 "sen" (a traditional Thai unit of measurement), bordering a mountain; to the south, approximately 4 "sen," bordering a public road; to the east, approximately 3 "sen" and 10 "wa" (another unit of measurement), bordering public land; and to the west, approximately 3 "sen" and 10 "wa," bordering private land.
The temple’s buildings include a vihara (assembly hall), monk’s quarters, and a variety of religious artifacts, including a Buddha statue.
Wat Mae Lop was established in 2484 BE with Phra Athikarn Kaew Upali serving as the chief abbot overseeing its construction. Once completed, Phra Boonsri was invited to serve as the acting abbot.
