Tilok Aram Temple is located in the island centered of Kwan Phayao which stands by Luang Por Sila. This temple had been underneath over 500 years and refers to the evidence from
a stone inscription, the king of Chiang Mai (King Tilokkarad) commanded to Chao San Hua (King of Muang Phayao) to establish this temple in 1476 – 1486 for offering to greatest king.
Then, the effect from war and a biggest flood, there is an invitation of Luang Por Sila from Sri U-Mong Kham Temple to stand in Wat Tilok Aram. Therefore, this place becomes an important
cultural tourist place in Phayao and lead to recover Ing River’s civilization to be alive. The transportation has been supported by having the sculling boats to take tourists to Wat Tilokaram every day.
