Wat Huay Nam Sub, commonly known as Wat Phra That Wayo, is situated by the Lat Krating Reservoir in Tambon Lat Krating, Amphoe Sanam Chai Khet, Chachoengsao Province. If traveling from Chachoengsao city, take the route leading to Amphoe Tha Takiap (towards the Khao Ang Rue Nai Wildlife Sanctuary on Highway 3259).
Originally a meditation center, Wat Huay Nam Sub was elevated to temple status in 1985 with the support of Mrs. Suchitra Phanthong and her disciples. It is believed to be connected to an ancient city named "Wayo Nakorn" that once thrived before declining due to natural disasters and epidemics. The temple was officially granted ecclesiastical boundaries in 2009.

The temple grounds are lush with trees and provide a serene atmosphere, making it a popular spot for relaxation and merit-making. The pathways and stairs are designed to blend with the natural surroundings, offering visitors both spiritual tranquility and a connection with nature. To reach the temple, take Highway 3259 through Amphoe Tha Takiap, and upon entering Amphoe Sanam Chai Khet, look for signs directing you to the temple near the Lat Krating Reservoir.
