Mae Geum Reservoir Construction began in 1992 and was completed in 1993. Construction was carried out by the Office of Accelerated Rural Development. The construction area is a rice field. and most of the garden areas of Rat Ban Thong Fai, Village No. 1, with a capacity of 1,062,000 cubic meters.

 

Mae Geum Reservoir was built for the benefit of agriculture. or during the farming season The rice fields around the reservoir will be utilized for about 200 rai of the Mae Kum Reservoir, and during the dry season, the water in the Mae Kum Reservoir will be utilized for the longan plantation of approximately 2,500 rai.
