Wat Pathum Khongkha Nok Ok, Pak Thong Chai, Nakhon Ratchasima. Wat Pathum Khongkha, also known as Wat Nok Ok is a Mon temple. As a historical attraction and monument, it is open daily to the public.
The temple was built in 1774. It has ancient structures including Ho Trai Klang Nam and Sim, which are a library in the middle of a pond and an old North Eastern-style main hall respectively.
The hall possesses tempera paintings influenced by Ayutthaya and Rattanakosin arts. They are found on the ceiling above the hall’s principle Buddha image.
They portray a sky full of stars, creatures in the Himmavanta Forest, different kinds of plants and natural and supernatural things.
