Wat Bang Nom Kho Located in Bang Nom Kho Sub-district, Sena District, is a temple built in the late Ayutthaya period, formerly known as Wat Nom Kho because villagers in that area have more cattle raising than other places. When the war broke out with Burma.
The Burmese camped in Sikuk sub-district near the temple area and took the opportunity to herd cattle from Bang Nom Ko villagers as supplies to feed the army. Ayutthaya eventually lost to Burma.
After the temple was renovated, the villagers were raising a lot of cattle. Therefore called Wat Bang Nom Kho. Wat Bang Nom Kho has an area of approximately 24 rai, 21 wa, 4 ngan, enshrining a large Luang Pho To.
