Khao Kha Archaeological Site in Sao Phao Subdistrict along Highway 401 from Chom Phibun Intersection At the 99th kilometer, turn left onto Chinda Pracha Sawan Road for about 7 kilometers. Khao Kha archaeological site is over 1,500 years old.
Khao Kha area is an important religious site in the sect. which reveres Shiva or Shiva as the supreme deity There is a Khao Kha like Phra Sumeru Mountain at the center and small ancient sites scattered around the surrounding area.
Artifacts used for rituals have been discovered, such as the Yoni Sivalling Base, Soma Sutra (Holy Water Pipe), as well as the ancient remains of temples and ancient ponds. The Fine Arts Department has completed the restoration in 1997.
