Wat Nong Kradi Nok is located at Ban Nong Kradi, No. 144, Moo 3, Nong Yai Da Subdistrict, Thap Than District, Uthai Thani Province. The temple belongs to the Mahanikaya sect and covers an area of approximately 13 rai and 54 square wah. Its boundaries are defined by public land to the north, Nor Sor 3 land plots to the south, the Thap Than–Sawang Arom Highway to the east, and Lam Khlong Hoi Kab Canal to the west. The temple area lies in a lowland plain suitable for religious buildings.

The temple compound includes several important structures such as the ordination hall, which measures 20 meters wide and 40 meters long, built in 1926 with a brick-and-mortar structure. Inside, the principal Buddha image is enshrined as the spiritual anchor for the faithful. There is also a wooden monks’ residence, a multipurpose pavilion for merit-making, and a crematorium. Among the sacred objects, the principal Buddha image in the ordination hall and the statue of Luang Pho Klueab, a revered former abbot, are highly respected by local villagers. Luang Pho Klueab is believed to have possessed miraculous powers and sacred speech, drawing many devotees who come to pay homage and seek blessings.

Wat Nong Kradi Nok was originally founded in 1888 (B.E. 2431) when Khun Luang Sumatra generously donated 7 rai, 1 ngan, and 50 square wah of land to establish the temple. Later, it was officially granted Wisungkhamsima (the consecrated boundary for the ordination hall) on September 3, 1925 (B.E. 2468), covering an area of 20 meters by 40 meters. The temple is conveniently located along the paved Thap Than–Sawang Arom Road, making it easily accessible for both local residents and visitors. In 1971 (B.E. 2514), major restoration works were carried out, and the temple was officially registered as a new monastery.

The current abbot is Phra Athikan Charoen, who has continued to oversee the temple’s preservation and development. Today, Wat Nong Kradi Nok remains not only a spiritual center for the local community but also a destination of faith-based tourism where visitors can admire its historical significance, practice merit-making, and pay respect to its sacred figures.

The temple is situated about 9 kilometers from Thap Than District and around 27 kilometers from Uthai Thani Province, making it a convenient and meaningful destination for both pilgrims and cultural travelers.
