Ban E-Mad–E-Sai Hill Tribe Cultural Center is located in Moo 4, Kaen Makrut Subdistrict, Uthai Thani Province, under the supervision of the Hill Tribe Development and Welfare Center. It is situated near the Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary and serves as an important site for preserving and promoting Northern Thai traditions and culture, particularly that of the Karen hill tribe. The Karen people lead a simple and peaceful life while strictly adhering to their traditional customs, reflecting their deep respect for nature and strong community bonds.

Notable local festivals include the Chedi Worship Ceremony, featuring traditional circle dances and sword dances, and the Bodhi Tree Worship Ceremony. These events provide opportunities for family members who have moved away to reunite and celebrate together. Both ceremonies are held annually in April, with specific dates determined by local readiness, such as the completion of seasonal agricultural harvests. The village enforces prohibitions on gambling and alcohol consumption, maintaining a peaceful environment conducive to experiencing authentic hill tribe life.

Visitors can stay overnight in Karen homes within the village, at Ban Wat Yang Daeng, or in accommodations at the cultural center, which also houses a hill tribe museum. The museum showcases the culture, tools, and history of the Karen people, offering visitors an in-depth understanding of their traditions. Additionally, the center sells local handicrafts such as naturally dyed traditional woven fabrics, bamboo crafts, and seasonal agricultural products, allowing visitors to support the community and bring home authentic souvenirs.

Traveling to the cultural center from Ban Rai District involves taking Highway 3011 toward Phu Bon for approximately 20 kilometers on paved roads, followed by one kilometer on a compacted dirt road. The site not only provides a rich cultural tourism experience but also contributes to the preservation of Thai traditions and supports the local economy. Visiting Ban E-Mad–E-Sai offers a unique opportunity to witness the beauty of Karen life, traditional festivals, and the serene natural surroundings near the Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary, giving travelers an authentic insight into Northern Thai culture.
