Kathu Local Heritage Conservation Centreis located in the area ofBanKathuSchool, 7 km. from town. FollowWichit Songkhram Roadto the Wat Ket Ho T-junction and turn right toward the Kathu community.
 
The Centre has ores, carborundum, a model of a mine in the past, mining tools, and utensils, reflecting ways of life of the community. It is open daily for free during official hours. Tel. 0 7632 1035.
