Khao Shiva Cave (Tham Nam) Located in Ban Khao Chan Daeng Between the Tang Kok Mountains and the Mango Reed Mountains It is about 16 kilometers away from Khlong Hat District Office. It is a cave with water flowing all year round. The cave is 500 meters deep, and the water level is 10-220 centimeters high.

 

Inside are beautiful stalagmites and stalactites. Some areas look like a curtain and still have water flowing to see a small waterfall. When the light meets the sand scales of the stalagmites and stalactites, the strange colors reflect back. The water in the cave circulates throughout the year. Inside the cave is ventilated all the time.

 

It is an ideal attraction for adventure lovers who can swim. It takes 1-2 hours to see the equipment that must be prepared, including: Non-waterproof clothing, waterproof flashlight, storm lantern, lighter, raft, and tube or life jacket. Before going, you should contact the tour guide at Khlong Kai Thuen Subdistrict Administrative Organization.

To get there: From Sa Kaeo, take Highway No. 317, turn left at the junction to Highway No. 3067, then turn right onto Highway No. 3395. Drive straight for 15 kilometers, you will find a junction, turn left and drive straight for about 3 kilometers.

 

Will reach the entrance to the water cave Or from Wang Nam Yen District, go 47 kilometers, turn left at the junction into Khlong Hat District, go for 13 kilometers to Khlong Hat District Office, then go to Ban Khao Chan Daeng for another 16.7 kilometers, turn left into Khao Tangok for another 18 kilometers to the mouth of the cave.
