Phu Wiang Dinosaur Museum Nai Muang, Phu Wiang, Khon Kaen. It is a part of the fossil research center of Phu Wiang Dinosour.

 

It was founded by the corporation between Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Khon khan Province and the Department of Mineral Resources to research and publicly dissipate mineral resource knowledge and reserve for benefiting the public and promoting sustaining tourism.

 

The building is divided into 3 sections; that is, the service section including souvenir stores, restaurants, meeting rooms, the academic section including operating rooms, work rooms, library, and the exhibition section including exhibition room at the first floor and the second floor. They are exhibition of the origin of the Earth, rock, mineral, fossil, and models of dinosaur.

 

Travel: You have to travel on the same route heading to the Phu Wiang National Park. From Khon Khan province, you have to use the highway no.12 (Khon Khan-Choompae), passing Baan Fang District, Nong Reu District.

 

If you reach the intersection of Phu Wiang District, you keep going about 48 kilometers, then, you drive 22 kilometers through the Khon Khan Province highway no.2038. You will arrive Phu Wiang District and you have to walk 10 kilometers to reach the museum.
