Huai Rabam Forest Park is located in Rabam Subdistrict, approximately 78 kilometers from Uthai Thani city center. Covering an expansive area of 11,740 rai, this forest park was established by Thai Plywood Company as a site for cultivating valuable economic trees such as teak, eucalyptus, and Pinus merkusii. Beyond its industrial importance, the park also serves as an educational and recreational destination, offering visitors the chance to explore newly planted tree plots and experience the serene greenery of a large-scale forested area.
For those wishing to stay overnight, the park provides accommodation facilities that can host around 30 people. Visitors are required to bring their own food and supplies, as there are no shops within the area. Seasonal conditions vary significantly: during the dry season, water sources are limited, while in the rainy season, access roads can become challenging due to slippery surfaces or occasional flooding. Despite these challenges, the park’s natural beauty changes with the seasons, offering a peaceful atmosphere in the dry season and lush greenery during the rains.
To reach Huai Rabam Forest Park, travelers can take Highway 3438. Around kilometer marker 46, turn left and continue for approximately 16 kilometers to arrive at the site. Although the journey takes some time, the route offers scenic views of forests and hills, making it ideal for eco-tourism and nature exploration.
Huai Rabam Forest Park is more than just an economic timber site; it is a place where visitors can learn about reforestation, natural resource conservation, and enjoy a tranquil retreat amid nature. For more information, interested visitors can contact Thai Plywood Company at +66 5651 1094 or the Provincial Forestry Office at +66 5651 1009 to prepare for a unique experience in this vast green area of Uthai Thani Province.
