Bueng Pho Riam is a large reservoir covering an area of approximately 204 rai, spanning three villages in Ngiu Rai Sub-district: Ban Don Pho (Moo 2), Ban Phai Khat (Moo 3), and Ban Hua Bueng (Moo 6). It serves as a crucial water storage area for agricultural purposes and a significant breeding ground for aquatic animals, benefiting the local community.
The area surrounding the reservoir is lined with trees, creating a shaded and serene atmosphere, making it a popular recreational spot for residents of Ngiu Rai Sub-district and nearby areas. During the rainy season, an abundance of termite mushrooms grows around the reservoir, providing a substantial source of income for the locals. Currently, part of Bueng Pho Riam serves as the location for the Ngiu Rai Sub-district Administrative Organization.
How to Get There From Bangkok, take Asian Highway No. 32 to approximately kilometer marker 160. Pass the interchange leading to northern and southern Sing Buri for about 8 kilometers, driving past the second Sing Buri Vocational College. Keep right to prepare for a U-turn at the second U-turn point. Then, stay in the left lane and turn into Ngiu Rai Sub-district, continuing for approximately 5 kilometers.
