Khao Lap Nga is located in Mueang District, Kamphaeng Phet Province. It is a small mountain stretching along a north–south axis, covering an area of approximately 9.6 square kilometers, or about 6,000 rai, with its highest peak reaching 485 meters above sea level. The mountain is covered with mixed deciduous forest and serves as a habitat for various wildlife and bird species.
 
To reach Khao Lap Nga from Kamphaeng Phet city, travelers can take the route from Nakhon Chum Junction, heading west for about 14 kilometers. Upon reaching Tha Khun Ram Subdistrict, turn onto the Tha Khun Ram–Khao Lap Nga road for about 5–7 kilometers to reach the trailhead.
 
The route up Khao Lap Nga can be challenging, especially during the rainy season, as the road may be slippery and muddy. It is recommended to use a four-wheel-drive vehicle and wear appropriate footwear. Visitors should also bring enough food and drinking water, as there are very few shops or facilities in the area.
 
At the summit, tourists can enjoy stunning views of Kamphaeng Phet Province and its surroundings. The area also offers opportunities to observe nature and wildlife, including various bird species found on the mountain.
