Wat Khlong Phai is located in Moo 3, Chum Saeng Subdistrict, Rayong Province. The temple covers an area of approximately 19 rai and 68 square wah. It serves as a religious and community center for local residents. The temple is known for its beautifully designed ordination hall and bell tower, both reflecting the elegance of contemporary Thai architecture.

 

The Ministry of Education officially established Wat Khlong Phai on May 18, 2001, formally recognizing its religious and administrative status. Since then, the temple has continued to develop, improving both its facilities and its role in promoting Buddhist activities. It is a place where locals can make merit, meditate, and join community religious events.

 

The temple grounds are shaded with large trees, offering a peaceful atmosphere ideal for meditation and reflection. Wat Khlong Phai also organizes youth training programs during important Buddhist days such as Makha Bucha, Visakha Bucha, and Asalha Bucha, to promote moral education and preserve Buddhist teachings within the community.

 

Getting There Wat Khlong Phai can be reached by private car via the Rayong – Ban Bueng Road toward Chum Saeng Subdistrict, approximately 20 kilometers from Rayong city. The temple entrance is clearly marked with signs. For public transportation, visitors can take a songthaew (shared pickup truck) on the Ban Bueng – Rayong route and continue by motorcycle taxi to the temple.
