Ao Pudsa–Ao Tubtim is a small, peaceful bay just about 200 meters south of Ao Phai. The sea here is a clear turquoise blue, revealing fine white sand beneath gentle waves. Walking barefoot on the soft sand, you’ll feel the rhythm of the waves and sea breeze slow everything down. Brown-gray rocks line parts of the shore, creating quiet corners to rest or capture beautiful photos—especially at sunset, when the sky fades from orange to soft pink over the rocky curve of the bay.

Around the cove, tall pine and seaside trees offer natural shade. On calm days, small fish can be seen darting near the shore, and long-tail boats cast mirrored reflections on the water. Swimmers should choose sandy stretches and avoid rocky sections during high tide; water shoes help prevent slips or cuts. For those who enjoy walking, it’s easy to stroll along the sand and connect to nearby bays such as Ao Phai and Ao Wong Duean.

Getting There From Ban Phe Pier (Rayong), take a ferry or speedboat to Na Dan Pier on Koh Samet. Then hop on a local songthaew truck to Ao Phai, and walk along the beach a few more minutes to Ao Pudsa–Ao Tubtim. Many nearby resorts also offer pick-up service if arranged in advance. The best time to visit is between November and April, when skies are clear and the sea is calm—perfect for swimming and watching the sunset glow.
