The Island and Sea Natural Museum is the first museum in Thailand dedicated to marine botany and zoology. The architecture of the museum was designed by the Faculty of Architecture at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. The buildings are uniquely arranged in ascending levels along the hillside, leading up to the summit. The exhibition area comprises five themed buildings, each with a unique concept. The first building, Honoring the Great Kings, celebrates the contributions of Thailand’s monarchs to the conservation of natural resources. The second building, The United Wisdom of Scholars, highlights research and collaborative efforts by scientists and conservationists. The third building, The Wise Seek to Learn, inspires curiosity and learning about natural sciences, especially for young visitors. The fourth building, Combating Environmental Threats, focuses on environmental challenges such as pollution and resource destruction. Finally, the fifth building, Safeguarding Thailand’s Potential, emphasizes the importance of natural resource conservation as a valuable foundation for the nation’s future.
