HTMS Chakri Naruebet is a significant warship of the Royal Thai Navy, located at the Chuk Samet Deep-Sea Port in Sattahip District, Chonburi Province. The ship was graciously bestowed its name by His Majesty the King as “Chakri Naruebet,” meaning “the greatest of the Chakri Dynasty,” symbolizing honor and pride for the Royal Thai Navy in safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty. The construction of HTMS Chakri Naruebet began in 1994, with the Royal Thai Navy commissioning Spain to build the ship using the most advanced shipbuilding technology of that era. The ship is large and impressive, consisting of 11 decks, with a length of 182 meters and a width of 30.5 meters. It was designed to support various naval operations.
