Hua Hin Hills Vineyard is one of the most famous agricultural tourism destinations and wine production sites in Thailand. It is located in Nong Phlap Subdistrict, Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. The vineyard was developed by Siam Winery, a Thai wine producer well known internationally. The soil composition and local climate conditions are therefore highly suitable for growing wine grapes, particularly premium grape varieties that require specific environmental conditions.

 

The entire vineyard covers more than 1,200 rai, with approximately 200 rai dedicated to grape cultivation. The grapevines are planted in orderly rows across the rolling landscape, surrounded by mountains and peaceful natural scenery. The atmosphere of the vineyard resembles those found in European wine regions, and many visitors are impressed by the sweeping views of vineyards stretching across the valley.

 

Hua Hin Hills Vineyard is especially notable for cultivating world-class grape varieties used in wine production. The vineyard grows many grape varieties such as Shiraz, Brunello, Colombard, and Chenin Blanc, along with more than 20 other wine grape varieties. These varieties have been carefully selected to suit Thailand’s tropical climate.

 

The grapes grown here have high quality and unique characteristics. Because the Hua Hin area benefits from sea breezes throughout the year, the grapes develop a balanced level of sweetness and acidity. When used in wine production, they produce wines with distinctive aromas and character that differ from wines produced in other parts of the world.

 

The wines produced from grapes grown at Hua Hin Hills Vineyard are marketed under the brand Monsoon Valley. These Thai wines have won numerous international awards, helping to introduce Thai wine to the global wine industry.

 

In addition to being a high-quality wine production site, Hua Hin Hills Vineyard has also been developed into an important wine tourism destination in Thailand. Visitors can tour the vineyard, taste wines, and learn about the wine-making process from Siam Winery experts.

 

Within the vineyard, there is a visitor center inspired by Thai architectural design. The site also features a restaurant called The Sala, a bistro-style restaurant located on a hill overlooking the vineyard. One of the most popular activities at Hua Hin Hills Vineyard is wine tasting. Visitors can sample a variety of wines produced from grapes grown at the vineyard. Getting There Traveling to Hua Hin Hills Vineyard is convenient from Hua Hin town, taking approximately 30 – 40 minutes by car. Visitors can drive from Hua Hin city toward Nong Phlap Subdistrict, where the vineyard is located. The route passes through scenic mountain landscapes and countryside areas around Hua Hin.

 

If traveling from Bangkok, visitors can take Phetkasem Road through Phetchaburi Province to Hua Hin. From there, continue toward Nong Phlap Subdistrict. The distance from Bangkok is approximately 200 kilometers, and the journey takes about 3 hours by car.
