Over 40 years of dedication to collecting items from different eras resulted in the transformation of his two-rai property into a living museum. The museum recreates the feeling of stepping back in time. Inside the wooden house and additional exhibition buildings are themed rooms that replicate old shops and services from the past: a barber shop, a grocery store, a tailor’s shop, a classroom, and even a small cinema. Each room is filled with original objects, such as vintage advertising boards, barber chairs, weighing machines, kerosene refrigerators, and showcases full of toys and household items once used in everyday life.

 

The collection is impressively diverse, covering nearly every aspect of daily life in the past. Visitors will find vintage toys such as tin cars, wooden dolls, and board games; rare banknotes and stamps from various reigns; classic automobiles and bicycles from different eras; musical instruments like old electric guitars, saxophones, vinyl players, and Thai flutes; as well as household utensils such as metal tiffins, clay pots, hurricane lamps, and charcoal stoves. Each category highlights the transition of Thai society from traditional to modern times.
