Initially created as a Center for Indigenous Technology, it evolved into a museum in 1992 and was officially inaugurated on August 12th to commemorate the 60th birthday of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother.

 

Located in Huai O Subdistrict, Long District, Phrae Province, the museum features exhibits of various types of ancient textiles, particularly antique pha sin (traditional tube skirts) known for their intricate patterns and weaving techniques.
