Wat Phra Kaew Don Tao Suchadaram Wiang Nuea, Mueang Lampang, Lampang. Is an old and beautiful temple and about a thousand years old. Used to be the enshrined Buddha statue of Maha Manee Rattanathimakorn. (Phra Kaeo Emerald Buddha) since 1979 for 32 years.

 

Wat Phra Kaew Don Tao Suchadaram Legend has it that The Maha Thera of this temple found the Emerald Buddha in the watermelon. (Northern language is called Mak Tao) and carved into a Buddha image. Later he was brought to enshrine at Wat Phra That Lampang Luang until now.
