The Amazing Corn Maze is an agrotourism and nature-based attraction covering an area of approximately 26 rai. It is managed by the Agriculture and Cooperative Division under the Office of Military Development, Armed Forces Development Command, and is located in the Chong Khaep area of Kanchanaburi Province. This site has been developed as a creative tourism destination that seamlessly combines learning, recreation, and natural surroundings.

 

Kanchanaburi Province is characterized by its diverse geography and rich historical background, particularly in the Chong Khaep area, which played an important role in the past. Tourism development in this area therefore focuses not only on natural beauty, but also on respecting the historical context and promoting the sustainable use of local resources.

 

The concept of the Amazing Corn Maze originated from transforming agricultural land into an experiential tourism space. The walking paths are designed in the form of a maze, with tall corn plants lining both sides throughout the route. Visitors can enjoy a light adventure in a natural setting while developing observation skills and decision-making abilities.

 

Another section of the site features a sunflower field, which is especially popular among photography enthusiasts. Visitors can experience the vibrant scenery of bright yellow sunflowers without traveling all the way to Lopburi Province, providing Kanchanaburi with an additional destination for photo-based tourism.

 

A key highlight of the attraction is the 34-foot-high observation tower, which offers visitors an opportunity to climb up and enjoy panoramic views of the corn maze from above. The bird’s-eye view reveals the intricate patterns and layout of the maze, making it one of the most popular photo spots within the site.

 

The Amazing Corn Maze is not merely a recreational attraction, but also serves as a learning space focused on agriculture, land management, and sustainable resource use. It is well suited for students, families, and visitors interested in educational tourism experiences.

 

Getting There The site can be reached via the Kanchanaburi–Thong Pha Phum Road (Highway No. 323). At approximately kilometer marker 68, about 200 meters before the Hellfire Pass Memorial Museum, the Amazing Corn Maze can be found along the main road. The location is easily accessible by private vehicle.
