Khon Tho Cave It is about 6 km from Yala town on Yala-Yaha road. Or reach 1 km before Wat Khuha Phimuk, with buses from the city every half hour. After getting out of the car, walk down a small road for about 50 meters.

 

Through the grove to the mountains of Kamphan, which is the location of Tham Samphao Thong and Tham Khon To, after passing Tham Samphao Thong and walking along the foothills for another 15 minutes, you will arrive at Tham Khon To, which is the most beautiful and largest cave in Kamphan Mountain. a marble mountain Inside the cave are stalagmites about 120 meters high.

 

Looks like a meditating woman who calls her "Mae Nang Montho", which is a variation from the name of the cave itself. It is also the source where many ancient amulets were excavated. especially the Avalokitesvara amulet in Srivijaya style. which is the best looking and most beautiful amulet of all that can be excavated.
