Wat Rattanaram (Wat Kaew) It is located at Ban Wat Kaew, Lemet Subdistrict, Chaiya District, about 1 kilometer from Wat Phra Borommathat Chaiya. Wat Kaeo is an old temple. It is not known exactly when it was built. It is assumed that the chedi of Wat Kaew was built in the same period as Wat Phra Borommathat Chaiya. is between the 14th-15th Buddhist centuries

 

There is an important ancient place called Wat Kaew Pagoda It is an ancient site of Srivichai architecture. Built around the 14th-15th Buddhist century, the style of the chedi is a brick-and-mortar architecture. The lower base is a square shape with four porches.

 

Between the porches were twelve wooden recesses. east facade There is a path leading to the central room of the pagoda. Inside the arch, there are Buddha images in the attitude of subduing Mara enshrined in every arch. Archeology Division, Fine Arts Department excavated and restored in the years 1976-1979.
