Chaloem Phrakiat Observatory Located in Wang Yen Subdistrict, Chachoengsao Province, the Chaloem Phrakiat Observatory is one of Thailand's regional observatories established to promote astronomy education and knowledge about space and celestial bodies. This facility provides an exciting and academically valuable learning experience for visitors of all ages.
 
As a center for astronomical learning, the observatory hosts a range of activities and exhibitions related to stars and the universe. It is part of a nationwide network of observatories, which includes locations in Nakhon Ratchasima, Songkhla, Khon Kaen, and Phitsanulok. The Chaloem Phrakiat Observatory features a state-of-the-art digital planetarium, offering high-definition projections of the night sky, celestial events, and astronomical phenomena. The planetarium accommodates up to 50 visitors per session, providing an immersive experience.

Behind the main building is an area dedicated to real-time stargazing, equipped with telescopes of various sizes. Getting There From Bangkok, take the Bangkok-Chonburi Motorway (Highway 7) and exit at Chachoengsao Junction (Exit 37). Continue onto Highway 314 (Bangna-Trat Road) towards Chachoengsao town, then proceed to Wang Yen Subdistrict via Highway 331 (Ban Pho Junction). Follow the signs to the observatory.
