It receives support from the San Sai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, the Mankalaya processing group, and agricultural groups in the area. The primary purpose is to upgrade local agricultural produce into high-quality processed products, helping households build additional income and long-term economic security.

 

The center’s main product is “Mankalaya,” a signature processed potato snack unique to the community. In addition, Village No. 8’s agricultural processing group produces items such as crispy banana chips, fried taro, and crispy potato chips. These products reflect both the distinctive flavors and the craftsmanship of local residents who work together to maintain quality and consistency.

 

Beyond production, the center also serves as a training and knowledge center. It offers learning experiences in raw material selection, food processing techniques, packaging design, and community enterprise management. The emphasis is on applying moral and ethical values in work processes, ensuring sustainability and harmony within the community. The goal is not only to create products but to build a strong, united working system.

 

The center welcomes youth, students, and anyone interested in learning about northern agricultural lifestyles. Visitors can study real local wisdom from community members and observe how honesty, diligence, and cooperation contribute to sustainable community development.
