The Phu Du checkpoint is located at Ban Phu Du, Village No. 2, Muang Chet Ton Subdistrict, Ban Khok District, Uttaradit Province. The opposite side is in contact with the international Pudu checkpoint. (formerly Pha Kaew) Ban Pha Kaew, Mueang Pak Lai, Chaiburi Province, Laos, formerly as a temporary relief point, which is open on Fridays and Saturdays. Phu Du Dan comes from the name of the mountain "Phu Du" that is a natural border. between Thailand and Lao PDR Phu Du checkpoint, Thai side Has been upgraded from a temporary relief point (open only Friday - Saturday) to "Phu Do international checkpoint" on May 19, 2013. The Pha Kaew checkpoint on the Lao PDR side. It was upgraded from a local checkpoint to an international checkpoint on March 5, 2015.

 

To get there: From Uttaradit town, take Highway No. 1045 through Sila At Railway Station. Travel to Muang Chet Ton Subdistrict Ban Khok District and take a public bus to Dan Phu Du At present, the Department of Highways has increased the distance of Highway No. 117 (Nakhon Sawan - Phitsanulok) from Phitsanulok through Uttaradit Province to Phu Du checkpoint.
