Khao Sam Bat Cave is a dry cave. The mouth of the cave is about 4 meters wide and about 3-4 meters high from the ground level. The way up to the cave is very steep. The mouth of the cave is about 4 meters wide and the ceiling of the cave is dome-shaped. Along both walls, there are many small nooks. Khao Sam Bat Cave can be divided into 4 parts as follows:

 

1. The front part of the cave is the part that starts from the mouth of the cave about 4 meters until the part where the cave floor slopes lower than the front part.

 

2. Tham Sao Phum This part starts from the area of ​​the cave floor that begins to slope down to the part where stalagmites descend from the cave ceiling. It is a cave pillar. The villagers call this stone pillar "Sao Phum".

 

3. Tham Phra is the third part of Tham Khao Sam Bat. It starts from the contact point from Tham Sao Phum (Stalactite Pillar) to the opening through the back end of the southern cave. On the ceiling of the cave, there was a slit of light coming down so it wasn't very dark. This part is called Tham Phra because in the past there used to be a stucco Buddha image.
