Doi Phu Nang National Park There are many interesting things especially the peacocks and various waterfalls. It has an area of approximately 538,128 rai or 861 square kilometers. It covers an area of 3 districts, namely Chiang Muan District, Pong District, Dok Kham Tai District. The forest condition is mostly mixed deciduous and dipterocarp forest. There are many kinds of rare wildlife such as tiger fish, marble cat, star cat, chamois, pangolin, etc. The important thing is that peacocks are easily seen.
Especially during the breeding season in November to February. In Doi Phu Nang National Park, there are about 265 peacocks, either Thai peacocks or green peacocks. It seeks for the food in small herds of 3-5, sometimes gathering up to 30 animals in herds. It is found near the park office along the ridges.

Than Sawan Waterfall Not far from the park office. Must walk down the hill on the steps and continue on a flat path for about 300 meters. The waterfall is formed by many creeks, namely Huai Song Sop, Huai Pong, Huai Un and Ta Nam Bo Bia. flows together to form Huai Mae Pang and flows down from a limestone cliff about 15 meters high among the large trees. There is water all year round. It is one of the most beautiful waterfalls ever.
Tad Pu Keng Waterfall is located about 5 kilometers from the office. You have to walk 1.5 kilometers. The car can go only 3.5 kilometers. It is a small waterfall. Flows through a stone courtyard, approximately 20 meters wide, shady atmosphere, relaxing.
Huai Ton Phueng Waterfall v is a waterfall that flows down several tiers along the limestone cliff, about 80 meters high, with water all year round. Around there is a forest that is highly fertile. The path to the waterfall is quite isolated. therefore should travel in groups for safety Location of the waterfall from Ban Bo Bia junction Take Highway No. 1251 towards Chiang Muan District. Until the 53rd kilometer, the entrance to the waterfall is on the right. The waterfall is about 2.5 kilometers from the road.
How to get there: Location of Doi Phu Nang National Park Office, Ban Bo Bia, Ban Bang Subdistrict, Chiang Muan District, from Dok Kham Tai District, take Highway No. 1251 to Chiang Muan District. At Ban Bo Bia Intersection, turn right, go about 3 kilometers from the intersection, there will be a sign at the office on the left. Turn for another 1 kilometer to reach the park office.
