The importance of giving fire is a merit making to warm the monks in the early morning of the cold night. using the temple courtyard as a bonfire and making snacks for the monks

History of the tradition of giving fire food Mentioned in the Khun Dok of the Jataka sect about the stinginess of the rich koliya. who want to eat snacks But it's a pity that the money won't buy it and doesn't want the wife to eat it. His wife then made a snack at the seventh floor house for the rich man to eat without being seen by anyone. while the husband and wife were cooking The Buddha was seated at the Jetavana Vihara. He knows by intellect

So please let Moggallana go to change the habits of the rich man's Koliya. Monk Moggaglana goes straight on the seventh floor of the rich man's mansion. The rich man understood that he would come to ask for snacks. therefore showing disgust and verbal repulsion But Monk Moggaglana tried to torture the rich for a long time until he gave up his stingy habit. Phra Moggallana preached the benefit of giving. until Koliya, a rich man and his wife became venerated

invited to receive food offerings at their home Phra Moggallana told him to bring them to the Lord Buddha and 500 disciples at the Jetavana Maha Viharn. Koliya, a rich man and his wife brought ingredients to make snacks above the Buddha and his disciples. But no matter how much you cook, a little bit of flour will not run out. The Buddha therefore preached and taught. Both of them were filled with joy in giving. saw the achievement of dharma

Most of the desserts are cooked using high heat and are traditional desserts such as Khanom Bueng, Khanom Krok, Khanom Krok with sticky rice. Pak Mo crackers, Khanom Ko, Kanom Pim, Kanom from Chonom Joon, fried glutinous rice.

At present, there are many more snacks and foods such as tea, coffee, fried noodles, porridge, sticky rice and toast. Villagers cook snacks according to the ingredients. Then bring the hot cooked snacks to offer to the monks. while making dessert The monks, along with me, would stop cooking only when all the ingredients had been prepared. when my monks are full Villagers have fun eating together. After my monks finished then prayed to bless those who came to make merit at the end of the ceremony
