Chao Pho Wittayayothin Shrine If counting back over a hundred years ago Which was in the era of King Suriyaphong Pharitdet as the ruler of Nan (between 1893-1918) Ngiao, Man, Yong people settled in a community along the Nan River. east coast Which is the location of Ban Tha Wang Pha at present and around the year 1897 there was a group of merchants from Mueang Nan District, including Chinese, Burmese and city people.

From Ban Hua Wiang Nuea and Ban Hua Wiang Tai, Ban Suan Tan, Ban Don Ton Laeng (Don Si Serm), bring cargo ships to sell at Ban Tha Wang Pha and bring the northern goods to sell in the city. These merchants stayed overnight at Ban Tha Wang Pha for several days. to sell goods and buy goods to sell in the city and some merchants saw that Ban Tha Wang Pha area is a suitable location for trading.

So they settled in that area. together with the group of people who originally settled In total, about 30 homes were lined along the Nan River. At that time, most of the area was a vast forest, especially in the east of the village where there were many large and small wild animals. And another thing is "San Chao Por", a sacred object that is with Ban Tha Wang Pha and maintains unfailing sanctity.

"Dong Chao Pho" people in the past were very respectful. because they believe in the sanctity and supernatural If anyone goes to the shrine or prays, they always get what they want, so they join together to set up a shrine called "San Chao Por".

The miracle of Chao Pho Witthayayothin surprised the villagers of Tha Wang Pha or nearby houses in the period of World War 2, 1941-1945. Ban Tha Wang Pha is in the line where enemy planes fly over and is in a war zone. The government has ordered the villagers of Tha Wang Pha to build a guard tower. and the enemy simulated artillery is a house. Whoever has a wagon must tie the straw together and set it up in the sky so that it looks like an anti-aircraft gun when viewed from above. The warning fortifications were located behind the camp at the time. Currently, it is located on the east side to the north. of Ban Tha Wang Pha Pracharat Wittayakarn School).

Chao Por's supernatural is evident. During the Second World War One night, an enemy plane dropped a bomb. The goal was to destroy the Ban Tha Wang Pha market, an important business center, but the bomb fell on the grounds of Chao Pho Wittayayothin Shrine. The bomb's head was almost half buried in the ground, but the bomb didn't explode. At the same time, the enemy fired heavily. Intent to take the lives of all the people in Tha Wang Pha Village (Ach. Sanit Chaichofa, when he was young, still collecting ammunition casings to play).

But not a single one was injured or killed and no one heard or knew anything about it. But the villagers around Ngaeng Subdistrict, Pua District, heard the gunshots and thought that all Tha Wang Pha people had died, so they came to see later. So it's questionable why the enemy dropped a bomb there without a single home. Or that the enemy had dropped bombs and fired their guns right in the middle of the village? But the godfather protects the life and property of the Tha Wang Pha villagers' children from all dangers by showing miracles to fend off bombs.

And the bullets to fall at the Dong Chao Pho area, where there is no home from that incredible event. It is said that the godfather has performed a miracle to protect all Tha Wang Pha villagers. Therefore, it is revered as the spiritual center of the descendants of Ban Tha Wang Pha and nearby villages and also shows their respect by organizing a procession into the Dong for worshiping and asking for forgiveness from the godfather on April 17 of every year until the present.

As for the name "Wittayayothin", it came to be known in the period of Kamnan Brothers. Sriwannusorn Tha Wang Pha sub-district chief in those days There is a rumor that villagers asked Phrakru Nekkhammapinan or Luang Pho Wat Don Tan. which in the vision (dream) of Luang Por Don Tan The godfather said that his name was "Wittayayothin" and continued to tell that he was a soldier from Ayutthaya. to join the war to expand the northern territory When he died, his spirit resided in the area known as "Dong Chao Pho", where the villagers called it. "Dong Chao Pho Witthayayothin" until the present.

Originally, the shrine was shaped like a shrine for the eyes. but with the strong faith of the villagers, Kamnan Paradorn Sriwannusorn Therefore led the villagers to renovate and make name tags. "San Chao Por Wittayayothin" on April 15, 1975.

And there is another person who has had success in fortune, namely Kamnan Nikul Pewon, who renovated in July 1981. In addition, there is also Tha Wang Pha Subdistrict Municipality by Prime Minister Suchet Phankaew who renovated in the year B.E. 2008.

Incidentally, the legend is told from the grandfather to the grandchildren, some events may go wrong. In some issues and the composition may be incomplete because the author has written from the hearsay from many generations of knowledgeable people. which some of you have experienced for yourself, some of you have heard from hearsay And for the sake of accuracy, invite someone who knows to help complete it. To help inherit the intention to our children and Ban Tha Wang Pha.
