Wat Phra That Chom Prik One of the old temples of Nan. Count back to the time when Nan was founded. Phra That Chom Prik The condition is located on a high mound along the Yang river by the relics located in the ancient city surrounded by a moat, which local scholars believe that this area is Muang Yang.
 
Which is the first city in Nan history that was ruled by Phaya Phukha Around the middle of the 18th Buddhist century, Phaya Phukha ruled Muang Yang. It was the first era of the establishment of Nan. Phaya Phukha expanded the territory by sending two adopted sons. namely Khun Noon and Khun Fong to build a new city.
 
The elder Khun Noon went to build Luang Prabang. As for Khun Fong, the younger man went to build Wora Nakhon or Muang Pua. This was the time that clearly began the history of Nan in both inscriptions and chronicles.
