Sisaket Rajabhat University Raised from "Sisaket Rajabhat Institute" which was established in 1997 on public land Non Bakba, Pho Sub-District, Mueang Sisaket District Sisaket Province It has an area of approximately 525 rai, 2 ngan, 32 square wa in Sisaket municipality. It is 1 of 5 projects to establish more Rajabhat Institutes in the first phase of the Rajabhat Institute Council Office. under the Ministry of Education During the fiscal year 1997 - 1999 by a resolution of the Cabinet on April 29, 1997, which established the Sisaket Rajabhat Institute under the rules of the establishment of a new Rajabhat Institute as follows:
1. a province with a large population; 2. a province with a large number of students especially the number of students graduating from high school; 3. a province that lacks higher education institutions; 4. a province with high potential that is developed as a center of tourism and industry; 5. a province that has readiness in terms of land for construction Chronology of important events in the establishment of Sisaket Rajabhat University.
24 June 1994 Mr. Boonchong Weesommai Member of the House of Representatives Sisaket Province There is a letter to the governor of Sisaket province regarding the establishment of a higher education institution by the Non Bakba public benefit area.
On July 12, 1994, Mr. Boonchong Weesommai sent a letter to the Ministry of Education requesting the establishment of a higher education institution. (Sisaket Rajabhat Institute).
25 November 1996, the Ministry of Education issued a letter No. SorThor. 0335/18506 to the Secretariat of the Cabinet on the establishment of additional Rajabhat Institutes.
29 April 1997, the Cabinet approved the establishment of the Rajabhat Institute of Sisaket.
25 May 1999 announced the recruitment of regular semester students, Batch 1 under the supervision of Surin Rajabhat Institute.
June 21, 1999 opened the first day of teaching.
On June 12, 2001, the Cabinet approved a draft royal decree establishing the Sisaket Rajabhat Institute.
July 12, 2001 His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej is graciously pleased to to enact a royal decree establishing more Rajabhat Institutes in the office of the Rajabhat Institute Council Ministry of Education.
July 20, 2001 announced in the Government Gazette. Play No. 118, Part 59 Kor. Established the Sisaket Rajabhat Institute.
21 July 2001 Appointed Assistant Professor Kanok Tosurat to act as the President. Sisaket Rajabhat Institute.
November 1, 2001 Transfer students under the supervision of Surin Rajabhat Institute All under the Sisaket Rajabhat Institute.
January 22, 2002 announced the division of government agencies in the Rajabhat Institute of Sisaket. By the Minister of Education (Mr. Suwit Kunkitti).
20 May 2002 His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej is graciously pleased to Appointed Assistant Professor Kanok Tosurat as President of the Rajabhat Institute of Sisaket.
November 21, 2002 His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej was graciously pleased to appoint Mr. Boonchong Vesommai to be the chairman of the Council of the Rajabhat Institute of Sisaket.
July 12, 2004 His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej is graciously pleased to Announcing the Sisaket Rajabhat Institute to be upgraded to "Sisaket Rajabhat University" as a legal entity.
January 24, 2005 His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej is graciously pleased to appoint Assistant Professor Kanok Tosurat as the President of Sisaket Rajabhat University.
