Wat Klang The Buddha's foot protrudes from outside the coffin at the old viharn of Wat Klang, Village No. 4, Nakhon Luang Subdistrict, Nakhon Luang District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The walls in the mandop are painted murals telling the story of the Buddha's life. When the Lord Buddha passed away In the middle of the mondop there is a raised altar on a lotus-backed lotus pattern. There are stairs going up in all four directions.
 
On the pedestal there is a red-floored gold-patterned coffin, width 70 cm., length 2 meters. The coffin is 1 meter high, supported by a Chukchi base. The special place is at the west end of the coffin. There are two feet of the Lord Buddha protruding from the golden coffin. Each foot is approximately 20 cm wide and 40 cm long. In the middle of the King's feet there is an image of the Gong Chak. and beautiful spiral pattern At the end of the King's feet was Phra Kassappa standing to pay homage to His Majesty's feet.
 
Wat Klang was built around 1787 in the early Rattanakosin period. It is a temple located next to the Pa Sak River. Important ancient sites are the Mondop or Viharn. It is believed that it was built during the reign of King Rama III. It has a square shape, bricks and mortar, tiled roof. Inside, on a high base in the middle of the mandop, there is a replica of the cremation ceremony of the Lord Buddha. 3D virtual reality And there are murals around the walls in all 4 directions, which is the story of the disciples of the Lord Buddha. who participated in the funeral of the Lord Buddha.
 
To get there, take Highway No. 1 (Phahon Yothin Road) through Pratunam Phra In. Then turn left onto Highway No. 32 and turn left onto Highway No. 309 into Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province.
 
From the Asian Road past the entrance of Ayutthaya city, heading to Nakhon Luang District (on the way to Ang Thong Province), you will find a sign at the right junction to Nakhon Luang District. Continue driving to Nakhon Luang District. under the bridge over the river Prasat Nakhon Luang is on the right hand side (notice the top of the temple and the rice mill chimney) through the Nakhon Luang Subdistrict Municipality for about 300 meters to Wat Klang.
