Wat Doi Khoi Khao Kaew It is located on the bypass road, Sai Chor 3, Mae Tho Sub-district, about 250 meters from the Ping River on the west side. in the position of Phraya Tak His Highness took a guess at this temple by saying, “If I have enough merit to be truly a refuge for the people. May the wooden bell that I threw to the goblets, located about 5 wa away, be cut off by the crooked middle part of the goblets. Do not let the other part of the glass goblet be broken, etc. It appears that when He threw the wooden bell knocking out the wish, it was what He had risked praying. It is evident in the eyes of the Buddhist companies who come to make merit at Wat Doi Khoi Khao Kaew. until it is said that “Phra Ya Tak is a person with great merit and prestige”.
 
After taking the guesswork, His Highness had the craftsman bring a crystal ball to attach it to the top of the Chedi of Wat Doi Khoi Khao Kaew. Another child, an official, a merchant, and a public asked permission to attach it to the top of the chedi at Wat Klang Suan Dok Mai. Several years later, the crystal ball on top of the two pagodas had disappeared as the top of the pagoda had collapsed. and in the chronicles it said Later, when King Thon Buri went to Chiang Mai for the 2nd time in 1774, he went to see the sambar of Wat Doi Khoi Khao Kaew. and asked about the crystal ball that he had gambled when he was still Phraya Tak.
 
Somdej Krom Phraya Damrong Rajanupap assumed that Somdet Phra Chao Krung Thon Buri Please allow the entire monastery to be renovated. When he returned from Chiang Mai in 1774, the important monuments consisted of The church has a double parapet showing the patronage of the King. The chedi and Buddha's feet are modeled in the church. In front, there are 2 chedi containing the father and mother of King Taksin the Great. Currently, this temple is registered as an ancient monument, published in the Government Gazette, Volume 52, Chapter 75, dated March 8, 1935.
